does any one has any cheap suggestions of keeping this pest under control in my veggie patch, my carrots and other veggies are suffering badly

depends on if its the shiny black beetle,or the vine weevil beetle with v on its back,if its the vine weevil its a nightmare to get rid of cause of white grubs underground eating roots. -
ya could try what my cousin has done if ya have the space
hes made his own little habitat for hedgehogs
has all the plants etc that attracts them and has it fenced off to stop his dogs and predatoers etc getting in
once night time comes they come out and eat all the slugs etc in his garden and he has no need to try kill anything in his garden apart from weedsComment

if its vine weevile get suscon green .the adult beetle eats this and dies.Comment
