Allotments

Any of you guys got an allotment?, do you enjoy yours?, I've recently applied for one, but there is a massive waiting list.

I have one and go there couple of times a week and love it, just being in the fresh air and eating all that fresh veg and salad stuff is so rewarding, even if you get too much and have to freeze it, its still better than buying from the shop. This year has been really dry which has been good for somethings but not so for others then next year it maybe the opposite. you maybe supprised how quickly you can move up these lists, on our site we have had 9 plots given up this year

Would love a plot wilf.

Would love a chicken coop with 4 or 5 hens but livestock is not permitted on my local allotments.

we are not allowed live stock either, that would mean a bit more work though (attending every day) i would imagine, im quite happy with the growing side. hope you get one soon Bob
