    worcester boiler pilot light problem

    hi all ive got a worcester boiler greenstar 28i and since the waterboard switched off the water for most of yesterday the pilot light won't come on and the reset button just flashes everytime i reboot it,hence no heating or hot water,the pressure shows 1.5 in the green and the fan is working (from what i can hear)does any1 have any ideas what i could check b4 i call some1 out to have a look at it. thanks nicole

    for those who come accross a simler problem,it was the plastic pipe that is connected to the soil pipe,it had got blocked and only took the plumber 10 mins to fix and only charged me for a cpl of pints!!

      can only guess it is a condensing type of boiler.

      Also for reference, most modern boilers, will only attempt 3 light sessions - if no start they lock out - cycle the mains off/on
