      WOW does he realise the phone on the right - in it's day was the mega mega mega phone - dual band and everything.

      Only thing is - nothing to reset it - unless it's for when your at home only.

      A 'better' way would be a link i can't find.

      Basically it was a box you shoved 12 volts up - when a alarm contact - triggered it - it used Bluefish technology to call a cellphone nearby to ring your cellphone - enough time to you to see it then hung up.

      Use two microswitches and some string and a spring - wire cut triggers - wire tught - alarm triggers.

      and/or (link will expire in 3 months)

      one of these so when wire snagged kills power to transmitter.
