And now am planning of building bigger pond/raised pond 8x4x4 or on there abouts.

Heading buzzing been reading up all day, about what way to go, block or timber, liner or grp .....

Am sure over next few days i will lighter in pocket...(wish i never opened my mouth, will post few pic's of the koi ghost

if you are buying expensive fish, you have to be careful about introducing them into an environment with other fish. one sick fish could wipe out your entire collection.

looks great though, i always wanted a garden pond, haven't got one yet

yeah will be getting a few expensive koi, but knowing where they come from and the breeder helps alot, a fw up my neck of the woods, and a few decent farms that i have spoke to few people regarding there fish.

Well going bigger, started the new build today, 8ft x 4ft by 5ft deep.

She pops out and has a look , and says i want it wider .....

so have to rip it out and restart tomoz after i get more timber..

No digging involved raised pond made with 4x4 timber, just as well i over sized the liner when i bought it, as i knew she would change her mind.

these were taken earlier. We now at 3feet depth, ran low on material so build stopped till tomoz.

Another foot in depth, then ply inside, then insulate then i can begin with all the good stuff like fitting liner and test filling

getting there, just another 2 layers to go.

Hit problems today, tried to get rebar, and none of builder merchants up my way do it. So having to wait till tomoz and contact local steel place.
