    Any appliance engineers ?

Got a baumatic oven which has stopped working. When I turn it on it makes a rattling noise coming from the clock as I opened up the oven to check. I have taken a picture as to where it's coming from. Is it worth disconnecting the timer etc?

What's not working the oven or the timer. Is the timer digital? if so why would it rattle? If oven isn't working it's more likely to be the oven element. If it's the grill that's not working it will be grill element. For information only don't try to fix if not qualified. hth

Nothing seems to be coming on. The clock is digital. Took the element out & got it checked seemed to be fine

Just a cotton picking cheese grating minete, the rattling, is it moree of a 'tick tick' or tickkker tickker tickker<VERY FAST>?

That would suggest, on face value the relay has low power to it, or something is dead short, if something dead short would excpect rcd to trip

That circuit board, rip it out, look for dry joints, or take good photo of the back.

On face value it'sa powersupply board, that POSSIBILITY powers the clcok then works the element.

Does it still ticker if set to super low heat?
