INDESIT, what other white goods brands do they own/make ?

Does anyone know for sure the list of White Goods available to buy in the UK that are made either by Indesit/Hotpoint, well basically I am asking what are the list of other brands they manufacture too, that's it exactly to hit the nail on the head.

Anyone know exactly which brands ?

I need to know so that I can totally avoid them all as they have been nothing but a total headache in all the time I have owned them and I am just about to venture into the market to buy different brands again, this time though I want to guarantee I make sure that I totally avoid anything to do with hotpoint/indesit and any of the other brands that I hear they also own and make and sell here too, even if I need to spend a lot more cash I don't care, anything just to make sure I am well away from that company and every brand that it owns or vice versa because they may not own other brands but may work with them to manufacture various brands etc.

Just need to steer clear of them for sure, so far I have also read that they have losts millions of pounds in 2012/2013 too, that does not surprise me at all after all that me and some friends have been through with their really ridiculous customer service and worse still the amount of faults with their white goods, TERRIBLE is all I can say !!!!

I just hope that there are some people on the site that have the specific knowledge of what I need to know ? Thanks

there is a third brand sure there is, but buggered if can remember it.

Sugest you go onto Ebay type in something commom, like 'elemeent' 'seal' 'motor' have a quick squint will say in listing "also fits ....."

Who ever designed the washing machine circuit boards needs there arse kicking BIG TIME. You have, water, electrcity, a cicruit board to get wet with mains on both sides of the board.

Ripped a Hotpoint washingmachine apart, the earth (saftey) was reling on a painted surface with a rusty self tapper, no ******* in there, yet the belt is 'conductive' for saftey!

Indesit also own the brand names Ariston, Creda, Hotpoint and Cannon (although I'm not sure if Cannon do "white goods") and they along with Candy are rated the most unreliable washing machine brands.
Most manufacturers maintain roughly the same build-quality throughout their range, so it's probably better to buy a base model from a quality manufacturer rather than a top of the range model from above.
Electrolux own AEG, Tricity-Bendix, Zanussi and they also build John Lewis washing machines which all rate amongst the best washing machines along with Bosch, Miele, Samsung, Siemens and Smeg.

What about Beko, I know they used to be cheap rubbish years ago but I heard that they are supposed to be really good now too and also a lot more expensive than previously, ??

First a little comedy fact about Beko............Beko is a Turkish company and in Turkey Beko trade under the name of Arcelic (which is pronounced Arse Lick) and the parent/controlling Company is Koc Holdings.
As you say Beko used to be considered cheap rubbish, but that was more down to the fact it was a new brand name in the UK, the Beko brand also includes Blomberg, Leisure and Flavel, so they are actually one of the more upmarket brands, I have had a Beko Tall Fridge/Freezer, Cooker and Dishwasher for several years and had very little problem with them. I think that Beko's problem is more of a "Brand Snobbery" problem than quality, although just like all the other brands they have also suffered product recalls so there will always be someone who does not rate them.
