Garage Convesion - Relapcing Garage Door

Hi All,

I'm after some advice really... We want to turn our garage into an extra bedrrom... What would be the best way to replace the garage door, either with a brick wall or is a timber wall...?

Ive heard timber maybe a cheaper option...

Can anyone suggest anything...?

Chances are the garage walls are only single brick so you need to either block it and insulate it that way or buy insulating plaster boards but I would use blocks to solve the garage door space. They a cheaper option than bricks.

Hi, thanks for the reply... Yes youre right the walls are single brick was planning on studed walls with insulation... I have read a timer wall isn't to difficult to construct to replace garage door any thoughts on that...?
