Shouldn't that be changing old for new?

Probably thought the electricity was cheaper with the old ones?

On a positive side if its like for like most easy to do ones self just turn electric off first!
If its upgrading additional switches etc best left to competent person

Yeah electricity was cheaper back then.

My house was built in 1922, I would think back then a competent person was someone who could get through a day without slipping on the horse sh*t around the nearby farms. None of the buildings have a 90 degree angle in them. Has it really changed so much now ? Or is it just a plot to charge someone to attend courses so you can make money and call them competent?
