Garage leak

Guys I've got some water creeping into my garage underneath the walls when it rains heavily.
The garage is rendered breeze block built on a concrete slab. I'm thinking of running a line of waterproof mortar along the outside wall and then the inside wall. Would this be correct to remedy?

You could get a massive pile of DK thanks buttons, line them along the seam
as you say at the bottom, then cover in car undersell eal, iShit the paint on stuff that sets

since when is there non water proof mortar

Hi,
dont know what will work but know what doesn't work.....

A nice little triangle of mortar pointed againt the joint where the wall meets the base. After a very short time you end up with lots of 3 - 4 inch triangle shaped bits of mortar.

1 make sure the ground level around the concrete base is lower and not water logged if not a French drain (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/French_drain) all around will help the water seep away from the base.
2 check guttering for leaks and blockage ie overflowing
3 rake out bottom edge of mortar joint with base then reseal with mortar or a frame sealant.
4 option if all above fail knock down garage and rebuild to do this you could drive too big vehicle into garage so it collapses then claim on insurance Meaty could assist on this last phase
