Brush cutter dies out when accelerating

    Hi

Today after a few weeks switched on my brush cutter. Switch on fine but dies out when accelerating.

It is a two stroke engine i admit i put a bit more oil in the fuel.

Wondering if that could be the cause.

Cleaned the spark plug didn't work

Can the carburetor be cleaned by spraying directly through it like in the cars?
    Thanks

Sounds like that shit E10 fuel has clogged main jet.

spray yes, cant see why not.

if was me, leave running 6minutes, then put some sunglasses on, baseball cap backwards
in macdonalds carpark, then try your best to get it to rev by on/off the gas, then on/off the choke

if you get it running fast, hold throttle high, on/off with choke to suck gummed fuel out

some carbs are like £9 delivered from china, ebay bolt on.

avoid paint thinners, If your bored, take carb off E5 fuel , leave in jamjar of it

next time you use it, run it out if fuel

Definitely it's not fuel with ethanol though. I am however using a new two stroke oil. Never used before. Don't feel like dismantling the carb just now. With my luck I'm afraid to tear the diaphragm

        1) look on eBay for carb

2). Possible piston ring gummed up, fill with neat petrol, plug in, leave overnight
Drain out, squirt some UB40 in it, try again

        3) ADVERTISEMENT “gunson color tune” but you will cough at the price
        Anyone will

try to change fuel,no more oil than 25ml/L of fuel...too much oil will clogging the exhaust, hard start, poor acceleration.

Yep definitely think I put too much oil did not think that would have such a dramatic effect. Thought it would just be black smoke

I gave up on it. Sent it to a technician said carburetor needs to be changed. Sent it to another said only cleaning was required and works somehow. He didn't even take any money as compared to the first one who didn't do anything.
I opened to check the muffler was surprised to see that there was no flame arrestor in it

Had the same situation with a lawn mower. I contacted the https://worx.pissedconsumer.com/customer-service.html, but they claimed it was no longer repairable under warranty. So I sent it to a technician, they held it for two weeks, told me they changed carburetor. When received it back, it worked for another week and broke.

If a two stroke dies out when accelerating = mixture waaaay too lean. Find the reason
