    discharge battery

    hi bought a new power drill instructions refer you before use charge and discharge battery 4 or 5 times how do you discharge the battery cheers

      Dont worry about this. Just use your tool until it stops working. Then charge it.

          Li-ion battery chemistry is totally different to ni-mh or ni-cd which batteries have a cycle memory. In li-ions it is done to calibrate the SOC(STATE OF CHARGE) of the BMS.
