Whirlpool dryer board 8L145 SOT223 - what can it be???

    Hello friends,
I have a whirlpool dryer (with heat pump). Was working just great ‘till yesterday when displayed E1 + F1 error 10-15 seconds after a drying cycle is started. I removed the main board than i found that a SOT223 (it seems like sot223) is getting hot. The thing is that i can’t figure out what is this IC. I think it is a linear voltage regulator…or a bipolar mosfet…(i might be wrong). But if it is what i think…what replacement can i use? The 8L145 inscription says nothing to me. Anyone with more experience can point me to the right direction? I’ll attach board photos, maybe circuit gives a clue. On board it is marked as RG1. Thanks in advance!IMG_7556.jpg
