The US like to play God and think they own the world. We [the UK] are their bum chums so we do as they say.

I know it has nothing to do with Libya, but I did not wanted to make a new thread and maybe annoy someone. This is just one post, hope you will understand.

12 years since NATO started bombing my country. 24th march.

2.500 people murdered in NATO bombing.
      500 murdered civilans.
12.500 wounded during 78 days of bombing.
30.000 air rushes for 11 weeks of aggression.
50.000 projectiles fell on Serbia and Montenegro, 22.000 tones.
      37.000 cluster bombs.
      1.150 airplane fighters.
280.000 Serbs left their home in Kosovo since KFOR arrived.
      800.000 Albanians migrated to Kosovo.
      29.6 bilion dollars of damage.
      37 times stronger force.
      670 times economic stronger force.
      Depleted Uranium....

Operation was called "merciful angel", ironic isn't it?

Just want to wish victims to Rest In Peace.

You had better add the 200000 who were murdered in Bosnia-Herzegovina, from 1992 to 1995 to rest in peace

Probably not a good idea Serbia giving anyone grief for being murderers as I'm sure there are many Albanians who might have an issue with Serbia.

The reason for Op Allied Force was the Potkovica campaign by the then Serbian government.. Systematic ethnic cleansing of Kosovo Albanians by the Yugoslav Army, Serbian Police and Serb Paramilitary..

Once Op Allied Force was initiated Potkovica was ramped up and conducted faster..

However targeting and choice of targets was poorly conducted as were the aims and way the campaign was fought..

I have posted before on the same subject that Allied Force destroyed all Serbia's chemical complexes and oil refineries, toxic waste flooded into water systems and the Danube river, airborne toxic materials caused widespread illness and unusually high cancer rates, and Romania and Bulgaria's fisheries also suffered enormously. Also after the air war KFOR failed to stop Kosovar violence against Serbs and others

Finally the air war was coercion.
Using force as coercion is seen as an aggressive act, and could be seen as a violation of Just War principles.

The harm done by NATO became greater than that originally done by Yugoslavia so the question of proportionality can be asked.

This is why now the scale of the strikes against Libya is far removed from that of Allied Force as is the targeting..

Lessons learned from KFOR have been implemented

Way very young when that war happened.

May all the victims of "brother" war rest in peace. Croats, Serbs, Bosnian...

That was a brother on brother war indeed and now lots of people who were in that war don't now for what they have been there. No good reason for dying.

Yes, leaders, lunatics were on all sides, and now many of them are being prosecuted in Hag, and the others are still being hunted.

For the war crimes in Bosnia, Croatia. Kosovo... Still, that tribunal is like meant just to judge people from Serbia.

Ramush Haradinai released, Agim Cheku, Hashim Tachi... all cause of scared witnesses.

Now you have a stronghold of Al Kaida in Kosovo, FYR Macedonia and in Albania, threatning to endanger all Europe.

But to understand this you must be a part of these people. That was brother to brother war. If you would like to talk about this one open new thread. I did not wanted to go off topic with Libya, just to mention 24march.

Lets keep this on topic please lads

                THE TRUTH
                The Hillsborough Independent Panel. 12/09/12

Today's report is black and white. The Liverpool fans were not the cause of the disaster.
The panel has quite simply found 'no evidence' in support of allegations of 'exceptional levels of drunkenness, ticketlessness or violence among Liverpool fans' and 'no evidence that fans had conspired to arrive late at the stadium' and 'no evidence that they stole from the dead and dying'.

Time to bring this thread up again...
That is nasty what Nato have done... Gadaffi's son, and 3 grandkids.. DEAD!!!
Lets get this right.. they are people.. different culture, skin colour, religion than MOST of us over here, but still people.
How would any of us think about your son been blown up? your grandkids, crushed to death by rubble?

Now the Nato have gone in to stop the 'oppression' of the people in Libya.., NOT to kill Gadaffi (so they say).... Yet another FAILED attempt at a country's leader/owners death.

When are we gonna wake up and realise this is wrong? in so many ways.
Its not like we, the common people are gonna gain anything by this.. they are not gonna bring petrol tax down to any decent level, even if they do get this oil. We will be screwed all the way.
These War Criminals, our leaders, should be held to account of what is been done, and what has been done... It is not right.

I've been completely against the 'west' involvement in Lybia from the beginning. In my view it was escalated by David Cameron PM. Wrongly , without exploring a diplomatic solution from the beginning with the Lybian regime. Hey, don't get me wrong... I'm no fan of Gadaffi, but bombing Lybia isn't the solution either..... I'm sure we'll realise this, just like we've done with Iraq... when it's over.... trouble is, a lot of innocent people get killed in the process.

Today are buried Gadafi`s son and three grandchildren.

Kids were Saif (3 years old) and grandoughters Cartag(2 years old) and four months old baby Mastura.

They are not guilty for their parents. I will never forgive the children. May them rest in peace.

I am hungry cause kids are dead and there is no one who can tell anything that can justify that.

All in all, this world is going wilder every day.
                        May God help us all.

Libya , Egypt , Yemen , Syria. ect ect
do you think these revolts are domino effect ?
or a planned covert infiltration by another party ?
these dictators have been in power for decades gadaffi
has been in and out of favour for a while
but definitely worth the watching as these so called despots were paid by oil company's and governments to be in this position

wonder why they are desperate to rid them of these tyrants now?
                          domino effect ....not listening there
but striking while the irons hot that's believable

whatever s said and done the damage and strike on lybia was maybe pre planned and also the uk incited european hatred by releasing al magrahi too
                          see the patern ??
