they are now saying the photos are fake and been circulating since 2009- I for one cannot believe they have not shown the body. I remember back to when they killed saddams two sons they put the bodies on public display for all to see they were dead. They have confirmed the DNA taken from the body was his... As he was (according to TV reports this afternoon) shot in the head twice, do you think its good to show such photos, the backlash from showing such photos makes them counter productive..

Who needs the body, he was stateless so no country would have him apparently. With no body there is no shrine or special place dedicated to him for his followers... Why would they put him in a 'cabinet' to display him, the last thing you want is that bloke on your hands, if he was a prisoner he would be way more trouble and his followers would more than likely take it to a whole new level, if thats possible. Any US president who is in power when this happened would get the credit, why wouldn't they, having him killed saves them so much trouble.

You can hardly called him a scapegoat though, try and explain such statement to families of people whoes blood is on his hands.
