ELEVEN people were arrested yesterday during a raid on a garage where staff allegedly beat up and bullied customers into paying rip-off prices.

meat-head motors drew customers from across Britain with online ads for cheap work, but typical ?1,500 quotes allegedly often ended up three times as high.

Customers who complained claim they were attacked, abused over the phone and could not get their motors back.

And a woman who demanded her daughter's car back was allegedly told: "If you don't shut up, I'll come and rape you and your daughter."

Police received 30 complaints this year alone. The firm in meat-headshire, has been run under several different names by meathead and sons meathead junior and meathead senior.

In the raid on the garage and two home addresses by around 75 officers, Paul 45, Martin, 23, and nine others were held on allegations including conspiracy to commit fraud and assault.

Harry, 21, was being sought last night.

Det Chief Supt Andy Rowell said: "The allegations include threats of violence and intimidation," adding: "The motivation is all about money."

Never thought Meaty would be lost for words think hes looking for a cheap ass lawyer with a broken car so he can charge the lawyer rip off prices for a change. At least M-H-M inc will be back on monday as the prodigal son is still on the loose to run the Bad-Garage scheme.

Excuse me guys, you have to remember monday to friday day time can only log on to DK at lunch time - that's anywhere 11am-4pm.

If you have done an alternater on a V8 Lotus, modifyied a stereo that some dick from halfords fitted, as as you pushed it back in the dash smoke came pouring out, answered the phone 40 times in a day, sorted the plank with a skoda out, the weirdo with the doblo, that came in twice about the same two things, took a tracking device out of a car (don't ask), then swapped two lambda probes over for genuine diagnostic reasons, but seem to have cured the fault, then only had a quick sandwitch, rather than comply with health and safty at work act 1974, which clearly states to take 1/2 hr, then after work, took 90% of a VW T4 apart to get the engine out, for a thick friend, then you can say what you like!

Then if your currantly typing with one hand as the other is holding someything together whilst the poundland.com epoxy goes off (if it does), then fine.

word of advice meaty... the poundland epoxy is crap.. good in your trade for holding an exhaust on or something till it has gone out the doors, but it doesnt last. Swear down mate, it just peels off after time. You gotta buy araldite or good brand.

We had some aldrite at work, i nicked it, took it home, mended washing mchine, glued two switches on my programmer, then lost the rest of tube.

1 garage 11 mechanics how they suppose to make end meat on top they have to pay taxes, rent, council tax, national insurance, heating, elect & gas, wages, etc, its routines in the 21st century if you ask me, just bad luck they got caught.

Aye definitely im with you on that one. Next time i go to a garage i'll give them a ?200 tip to help towards tax and they're lifestyle
