oh dear god here we go again. this is not your every day hardworking civil servant - its the big wigs as usual. ive been a civil servant nearly all my working life and ive never had a free lunch or night out in my life. we dont even get an hour for a xmas lunch so please dont tar all of us with the same brush.

and before you say yes i do work bloody hard and take a pride in the customer service i give even though most dont appreciate it. i take claims for those unfit to work (allegedly) when they are fitter than me!!!

at times yes it does. ie people getting dla for adhd thats a bloody joke. i know life on benefit is difficult for some and those that earn a few bux on the side ive nothing against. however those living rent and council tax free and their partner living there on the fly is a diff story.

Not here in America all civil servants take advantage that they can't be fired work 5 hours get paid for 10 hours. They become one cause they find out after high school they are only qualified to serve fries at McDonald's. How come everytime i see the civil servants digging a hole they is one guy digging and 5 just standing around

well thats not the british civul service, yes we can be sacked and many are. their disipline policies are very very strict and if off sick 8 days in a year = oral warning. please dont slag off something you dont know the ins and outs of..
