The drought is back, UK told

What drought it never stopped raining in Blakpool since I have visited in the last 6 months.

Immagine most countries on the Ecuator, it only rains in the seasons and they can manage water with more population then UK, so whats all the fuss about.

I drove through the Snake pass a couple of weeks back and i must admit it was bone dry, i was really surprised. Here in Liverpool it's pissed down with rain more than the sun's shone. Be nice if it rained over the reservoirs and left us alone to get on with the sun here

      THE TRUTH
      The Hillsborough Independent Panel. 12/09/12

Today's report is black and white. The Liverpool fans were not the cause of the disaster.
The panel has quite simply found 'no evidence' in support of allegations of 'exceptional levels of drunkenness, ticketlessness or violence among Liverpool fans' and 'no evidence that fans had conspired to arrive late at the stadium' and 'no evidence that they stole from the dead and dying'.

If I hear tomorrow on the news that there is a drought they must be taking the p!ss.... It has lashed down all day in Liverpool - at one point for an hour we had sideways rain.....

Agree with the OP. What about the countries who are landlocked and it only rains in the seasons and they still make the most... We are in a country that it is always raining and surrounded by water???

because we think we have a lot of water we are good at wasting it. It does not help when most of the distribution system is leaking like a sieve.

btw, the water surrounding us is no good for usage. It can be converted but its expensive and power hungry.

In Spain and many other countries they have de-salination plants to make the water useful. The water around us is great we need to treat it first.

We'll see. There is a desalination plant opened in east london last year that can supply around 10% of London's need for drinking water though apparently will only be used in the event of drought.

Let's do a deal with them, we''ll sell them all the rain they want, but at a "price".

only a politician would have the ~~~~in brass neck to tell you theres a drought when its pissing rain outside. maybe a couple of weeks wandering around the desert would show em the difference.
