New fees mean it can cost ?40 to sell something on eBay, but does this mean it?s not worth it any more? 'Confusing'
You will usually pay eBay a listing fee (although there are plenty of free listing day promotions to take advantage of). Then, if the item sells, you will pay a Final Value Fee.
This used to be worked out on a tiered structure, depending on how much the item had sold for, but will now be a flat fee of 10% of the final price.
If you accept payment via Paypal you will also pay a fee to Paypal.
And you are still not guarantee that you will be paid by Paypal, I never got my money when my item was sold in eBay last year, Paypal is a con merchant with excuses that you can not take them the legal way in British court????..
Remember when ever they denied to pay you take it with the Financial Service Authority.
Despite being registered as a bank in Luxembourg, PayPal IS regulated by the Financial Services Authority because it falls within certain categories of activity in the UK, and I only found out when I read the full storey, so I am going back on my original claim???..
