Did you read the comments, one there on the 30/7/2011 07:59, saying
"My boyfriend is a flying instructor at Barton so for all you people going on about landing low, it was engine failure at take off. This was unexpected and isn't really anyone's fault and although pilots are trained to deal with this is a spilt second decision and this pilots decision saved them..........................."
what by crashing in people ~~~~~ing houses!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I think that was just luck, no skill involved there -
if this had happened in liverpool, we would never have heard the story as the wreckage would have been half-inched before anyone could investigate the noise

it has been reported there was several pounds worth of damage done to the property.it would have been more but the lead was stripped from the roof last week
