David Cameron will today prepare Britain for a long haul back to strong economic growth as he warns millions of struggling households: ?This was no normal recession.?

The Prime Minister will urge people to pay off their credit card and store card bills, while encouraging banks to rebuild their balance sheets and governments around the world to follow Britain and cut their debts.

Maybe if banks didn't throw money at people who they know can never repay the country wouldn't be in the sh?t mess it is! A mate of mine was given a ?15000 credit limit on a credit card, his earnings ?10,000 a year, how the ~~~ is he ever meant to pay that back, albiet he should never have wracked up that amount, then again he was on the basic wage so who can blame the poor ~~~~er. Banks are a joke!!

Hows about instead of MP expenses they pay theyre own ~~~~ing way like the rest of us and at the end of tax year average what the *****s spent last year on expenses and put that towards our credit cards for us.

I recently paid half of one of my CC and they reduced my credit limit, without telling me nice !

I agree they were far too quick to give people the credit they should help people pay i tback and reduce some of these insane APR's

credit card was programmed to ?2500 - asked thm to drop it to ?600
no problem had it two years never used it.

Then asked them to wind up to ?750 - wanted to know inside leg meausrement and everything

Isn't moaning about the banks allowing the less educated to build up debts they can't pay back the same as fatties blaming McDonalds for them having their own gravitational pull.

Get real some of you guys ~ When the last governments labour minister left the treasury he also left a message saying there was no money left ! ~ only debt ~ Today, every MONTH the current government takes around ?13 billion (?13,000,000,000) less in taxation than it spends. ~ That is ?433 million pounds per day ~ that is ?18 million per hour. (Figures from the national press)
There is no money, we all are well and truly skint !. Give the current government a break and stop whingeing and face up to reality ~ the last government as well as the (b)(w)ankers well and truly screwed us all. Only the Greeks are in deeper sh*t than we are !

Hang on, not going to argue, but thought see on tv some documentry, that when labour took over in 1997 - the chanceller, said "we have no money, i'm ~~~~ing off" - or words to that effect.

NOT slagging the tories off, NOT slagging labour off, answer this.

Tories were in power from 1979 to 1997 - 20 years O.N.O. - so ok, labour come to power, 1997 to 2010 (what ever).

2) who the ~~~~'s name is on the credit agreement.?

just no understand WHY there is this national debt - fuel prices, high, food prices high.

Would be happy if DK subscribtion was the cost of 6 months of fuel, well worth it.

As meat is asking for answers I may able to put him out of miseries???.

We colonized the part of Africa, Asia, etc from 19** on. During this time we do not ask is that gold or oil belongs to some nuts we call it ours.

No more oil, no more gold, the more we sanction some countries we are going in red.

There are no easy solutions; let?s take over the Arab peninsular and we will be rich again.
