    "We are deeply saddened to announce that Steve Jobs passed away today.

    Steve***8217;s brilliance, passion and energy were the source of countless innovations that enrich and improve all of our lives. The world is immeasurably better because of Steve.

    His greatest love was for his wife, Laurene, and his family. Our hearts go out to them and to all who were touched by his extraordinary gifts.***8221;

    Thanks just noticed this in the news and came on to post the thread and noticed yours dave.

    Its a very sad loss and my thoughts are with him and his family.

    Although I am not a fan of the IPhone, ITouch or the IPad, i love my old video ipod with the wheel it has done me well. Also we have a lot to thank this man for the way we use computers today. From the idea of a userfriendly OS to the mouse.

    Rest in piece Steve Jobs.

                    such a shame at such a young age. money cant buy you good health. imo ipods are one of the greatest inventions of modern time. love them.
