Afghanistan would support Pakistan in case of military conflict between Pakistan and the United States, Afghan President Hamid Karzai said in an interview to a private Pakistani TV channel broadcast on Saturday.

The remarks were in sharp contrast to recent tension between the two neighbors over cross-border raids, and Afghan accusations that Pakistan was involved in killing the chief Afghan peace envoy, former Afghan president Burhanuddin Rabbani, by a suicide bomber on September 20.

to start with, on the surface, iraq has oil

and to fly all the way from emirca to iraq takes ages, so afghanistan has no real army or government and is right next door

lets start the word "terrorist" scare all the world, bomb the shit out of afghanistan, take over. now using same terrorsit excuse take over iraq and do so very easily using newly acquired base next door

on a deeper level, "israel" needs secure borders to expand and all threats need to be neutralised. thats why you see unrest in the middle east, many more countries will be "liberated" within the middle east

John I hear what you're saying John, but Britain is not in there to make the country safe - or they were'nt. Shouldn't be there in the first place and is the country really anymore stable after tens of thousands of deaths?
