7 dead, 51 injured, but police beleive more bodies in burnt out cars etc.

terrible accident, poor people

was horrendous, heart goes out to everyone involved and there families,

great work by our fire, police, ambulance, hospital staff for the way they dealt with such a horrific accident,

Shame indeed.. But im starting to wonder if it would of been so bad if the cars where powered by our friend diesel ?? Petrol is evil when its alight..

Theres been so many occasions when i have been traveling with suffeicent distance in front of me then some dick head pulls in to my space ahead of me my safety net broken' then i have to go on the brakes to open up the space ahead again

That's fine,I agree with you,but,what is your interpretation of sufficient distance ?

You see cars with 50-100 metres gap ahead of them,that's sufficient distance,but you're leaving yourself wide open to slow cars behind trucks pulling out ahead of you,and undertaking !!

I no what you mean mate i always try to keep to around 65 70
i dont think theres any excuss to undertake mate thats just wrong in my eyes
best advice on the motorway is to keep your distance
theres to many people that get far to close
they have absolutly no chance in avoiding a car that brakes instantly

For once i agree with you - said on Meat FM something about 2 lorrys jackknifed and blocked the road - wounder if they was bin lorrys driven by thick people?

Whats more worrying is the fact that people automatically blame the truck drivers.. but they never look at there selves weaving in and out of traffic.. cutting people up..

Was thinking more of a waste of fuel - once oil runs out nil poi - if people want a new life, just a little ~~~~ing about - job done.

Goes the other way - keeps a pig in a job (uploading on you tube) - scrap yard to dispose of the wrecked cars - body shop to repair minor damaged cars - funeral directors - car hire places - motorway services folks busy - not all doom and gloom - unless there was DK members involved and are now unable to log into DK due to no transport.
