AN unemployed teenager last night told of her desolation after applying for more than 300 jobs but failing to get even one reply.
Leanne Shipley, 18, has spent the past 10 months trying to find work after council funding was abruptly pulled from her beauty training course.
From Bridlington, East Yorks, she even moved 70 miles away to Leeds to look for employment but was still left bitterly disappointed.
She said: ?I feel like I?m banging my head against a brick wall. Every week I send away at least 10 applications. I?ve written to cafes, supermarkets, care homes, salons and loads of shops.
?Nobody has ever replied to me. It?s made me feel like I?m not good enough.?
Leanne, who has now moved back home to live with her salesman dad in Bridlington, had last year been excited about her future.
She was studying at social enterprise centre Bellezza Academy, which offers hands-on learning for women and has won awards for its work helping disadvantaged young people.
Leanne passed her NVQ Level 1 in beauty ? making her qualified for pedicures and manicures.
And she was heading for top marks on Level 2 when the course was shelved without warning.
She recalls: ?I cried when we were told we had to leave. There were four of us there and we were all really gutted. I loved it there. We all did and none of us wanted to leave. College is not for everyone and this way you were learning as you worked.
?If it wasn?t for the academy I would have no qualifications at all. They gave me confidence. I feel as if stopping the funding destroyed my chances, my future. I?ve had no work since then.?

Speachless, ask David Cameron and this is what he has to say?????.
Young, gifted and scrapped: David Cameron condemns 1million youngsters to a life on the dole as his vicious cuts start to bite!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I do not have an easy answer.
