What??? She closed mines that were making millions a year in profit. This was a a personal vendetta after the strikes of 85 and ted heaths 75 strike.
We now buy our coal from Poland and further afield, South America. How environmental is that when we are sat on the bloody stuff?

It could have the makings of a good thread and may even change some peoples opinions if they can give examples of what Maggie Thatcher did that was reversed by the Labour party when they came into power. Or even good ideas that Labour had that was subsequently stopped by the Conservatives.
