My shed blew away and most of my tools damaged.

I want to know if I am covered by my house insurance?

I will see the CAB tomorrow for an advice.

hmm dont know.. the same thing happened to my fence tonight.. neighbour lazy ~~~~er so i just did it meself..
I doubt there would be a lot you could do to MAKE her get it done quickly.. who do you complain to? council? and if she says she cant afford , or is too weak to do it or whatever then how can they make her?
id bite the bullet and speak to her saying you'll fix it yourself. Get her to agree to the cost of any materials, if she doesnt, then small claim her ass

one panel fell down a while back,it was rotten and had some heavy duty shrubbery against it,anyway i went round to see her and went inside for a chat, she then tells me she hasnt been well etc and she hasnt worked for a few months and is basically skint etc etc,so i thought fair enough i cant hassle her to replace it,but after the wind today its ripped down two more panels further along and the post in the middle,,~~~~ knows what i can say to her now to try and get it fixed

If she owns the fence you can get her to remove it from your property and pay for any damage caused, but I can't see her being made to replace it or even have a fence in the first place. As long as the boundaries are known that is all a Court will look at.

My van window was smashed by a roof tile, I lost my garage window, some roof tiles and my arial is now picking up signals from the moon. One bonus though, I'm now the owner of a 12ft Trampoline.
