    'mmmmmmmm Duff'

Now you can get enough of the wonderful Duff! Homer Simpson's favourite beer is for sale in Britain

For years Home Simpson fans have watched the loveable idiot as he drools over his favourite beer.

And now drinkers in Britain can see if it really deserves his famous 'mmm Duff' response after it was announced that the beverage is to be made available here for the first time.

The formerly fictional beer, which comes with the advertising slogan 'Can't get enough of that wonderful Duff' in the hit TV series, was developed by The Legendary Duff Beer company following the global rise of the dysfunctional cartoon family.

'Mmm Duff': Homer Simpson's favourite beer Duff has become synonymous with the hit TV show and has now been released in Britain

With Homer often shown knocking back the iconic beer in his favourite bar, Moe's Tavern, the made-up brand soon became synonymous with the long-running show.

As a result the beer was made by German-based brewery Brewmasters Gebeaut?s and has already had success across Europe.

Following sales abroad it will now be available in bottles or cans to be purchased and shipped to delivery locations in England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.

The Legendary Duff Beer company describe it as: 'A premium German pilsner that poses a crisp, light refreshing taste along with iconic packaging.

Can't get enough of that wonderful Duff: The beer made famous in The Simpsons can now be delivered in the UK

'The product has certainly fulfilled its namesake in becoming a modern day legend, developing a cult following across the world.'

News of its sale in Britain coincides with the release of the show's 500th episode, which comes 23 years after it was first screened.

In the episode a black screen reminiscent of those used in silent films, piped with white framing, popped up after the usual half an hour of yellow fun.

It read: 'Thanks for 500 shows'.

most american things are shit but when I was in New York I drank Blue Moon they stick a slice of orange in the pint its like a German wheat beer but flavours or orange and coriander. It also has the image of being a independant brewery but its not even if it doe say so on the tap, bottle etc its actually Coors that make it but they like to keep that hush. Needless to say I fell in love with this beer.

Just recently I have seen it in a bar in Falkirk (?3.85 a pint) and restuarant in Edinburgh (I never even bothered to check the price ) and to top it all off Tesco have now started selling bottles of it. normal sized bottle ?1.99 .

Expensive stuff but so worth it you would actually believe it was a wee independant brewery if you never knew.

Think it is 5.4% so beats this Duff which probably tastes piss because its a gimmick. (CB may be able to confirm percentage if last nights bottle is still in the kitchen )
