    Warm weather and Nice day

Great news for sun-lovers as warm weather to continue all week

The hottest March 27 was in 1926 when 22.8C was recorded for West Witton, North Yorkshire, while the highest recorded temperature in March was 25C (77F), most recently seen on March 29, 1968.

Wales is continuing to bask in spells of unseasonable sunshine - with more warm weather expected over the coming days.

Met Office forecasters are expecting the clear and mild weather to bring high temperatures across Wales over the course of the week.

And people across the nation have been enjoying the sunshine, as seen in our Twitter photo stream below.

Weather experts have expressed some surprise at the warm conditions continuing across the country.

BBC Wales weather presenter Derek Brockway tweeted a forecast picture showing coast-to-coast sunshine, saying: "It's not often the whole of the UK looks like this."
