Why Does England Get Ripped Off?

Now let me be clear.

I am a Scotsman and happy to be so but I often wonder just why you guys (and ladies) put up wi half the shit u get hit wi.

Examples:

1 Inferior Law (we have Not Proven and Double Jeopardy)

2 Hose Bans (we are literally drowning in water but ur water companies won't pay to transport it)

3 Lower Council Tax

4 Copious Oil

5 Off The Scale Tidal (and wind) power

6 More spend per head

7 Free Presciptions

8 An NHS that isn't utterly ripped to shreds (because our local laws forbid it)

9 Operations and medicine that aren't postcode specific

Double jeopardy no longer stands in Scotland, my Council Tax is higher than a lot in England. Some medicines are not only Postcode specific but not issued in Scotland but are in England. We do technically get more per head than England but pay more in in the first place. It's just that where some of that money comes from isn't taken into consideration. We also have more water but pay higher water bills (wtf). We do have some pretty dodgy neighbours though.

The parliament in Westminster can pass laws including Scotland but Scottish has always been the UK guinea pigs before the law is finally passed in England??..

Scottish people should get the flags of there own around the big bell and tell the UK parliament we want to be left alone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

in scotland you get your council tax and water rates included in 1 bill in england you get a seperate water bill my water bill is twice the amount of my mums in scotland for roughly the same size of property but when you add the 2 together they are roughly the same
