Anders Brievik has stated he wants Immigration to Europe and in particular Norway to stop and that this will stop Europe becoming predominately Muslim and that he disagrees with multiculturism.
He has also quoted Luton as being the worst example of what multiculturism does to a society.
Before I go any further, I must state I think the guy is a nutter and has murdered innocent people and for that deserves everything coming to him.
I live in Luton, I was born in Scotland and I am white. When my parents moved to Luton in the 1950's the town was being swamped by migrants from Scotland, Ireland, Wales and the North of England. These people were mainly skilled workers who had been recruited by businesses building up in Luton and this influx was followed again in the 1960's by more Irish, mainly labourers who worked building the M1 and also at this time many West Indians were arriving. In the late 60's early 1970's Asian's started to arrive in large numbers partly caused by the split of Bangladesh and Pakistan (some Indians had arrived prior to this) and then more Indians arrived when Idi Armin threw them out of Uganda. Most of the Indians tend to be Hindu or Sheiks and the Pakistani's tend to be Muslim. The migration of Asians has continued into the town at a steady rate right up to today. In the last 10 years or so the has been a large influx of Poles, Lithuanians, Latvians, Romanians and Nigerians.
In the 50' and early 60's the Scots, Irish and Welsh were the people who were moaned about. Then it became the West Indians who did not have to speak to be noticed as the outsiders were picked on. They were picked on by the Indigonous Lutonians and the "immigrant" Scots, Welsh and Irish. Then came the turn of the Asians who were discriminated against by the Indigenous Lutonians, Scots, Irish, Welsh and the West Indians.
Now the Indigenous Lutonians, Scots, Irish, Welsh, West Indians, Asians and all their descendants (many from all these races who are calling for a cap on Immigration) are all discriminating against the latest newcomers the Poles, Lithuanians, Latvians, Romanians and Nigerians.
The Town also has a sizeable number of so called "travellers" housed here.
There is discrimination between white and black, between Indian and Pakistani, Muslem, Christian, Hindu and others, Catholic and Protestant amongst those of Scots and Irish descent, Black and Asian. and now there is discrimination of the East Europeans and Nigerians from the other Immigrants and Brits (Of White, Black and Asian descendancy). And nearly all of these dispise the "travellers".
Discriminating for one reason or another is a trait of Man Kind it will never be Stopped !!
All any of us can hope for is that Indigenous people should be allow to voice their feelings and not be "overrun" by outsiders from anywhere, for they were there first.
We should all be allowed to carry on our own beliefs, and do our own thing. But if we are not one of the Indigenous people, we should remember we are visitors and guests of those people and we should not try and force our beliefs and way of life on those who originally belong there. In fact it should be the ways of the Indigenous people that should be embraced and yours or my beliefs and way of life be saved for inside the privacy of our homes.
