A teenage girl has had a remarkable escape after she fell into an underground cavern in northern China. The teenager was walking by a road in the city of Xi'an when she suddenly vanished through the pavement and had to be rescued.

Beats disappearing down a pothole in our roads at least. Maybe the highways agency here are going to take lessons form them and just cover up the larger potholes with a thin layer of cement (which is what it looks like in that girls case a well, if you look a the pavement) to hide them.
