    500,000 to lose disability benefits

Half a million people are set to lose their disability benefits under government plans.

Work and Pensions Secretary Iain Duncan Smith said he was determined to introduce radical reforms to disability allowances which could slash the annual cost by ?2.24 billion.

Around 500,000 people in the UK who receive disability living allowance (DLA) could no longer be eligible for the replacement personal independence payment (PIP) under the plans, which are outlined in a report by the Department for Work and Pensions this month.

I have no doubt that some cuts are necessary but for the genuine disabled people they do need lots of care and support.

Yeah, there the ones who pay no road tax, smell bad, *NEED* their cars NOW, want to talk about anything and everythig. Then smoke roll ups.

Yes, smoking is 'good' for people with shitter problems, so fair enough.

MacDonadls in Meat-City have the right idea, put the disabled bays at the far end of the parking lot.

YEs there are genuine disabled people, we have on here a member (can't remember user name) who has NO legs, but he is able to post still.

As for Tesco, there is a ROW of disabled parking spaces by the door.

Mother and Brat spaces, but NO DK Member spaces by the door.

I been in a street not going to name it but I have seen all part of street covered with disable parking bay, not a single space left for a stranger to park.

Imagine our govt paying tons of gold cash to disable people in that street instead of moving all the disable people to Falkland and learn to survive on there own will save our govt from bankruptcy.

one of the things about dls higher mobility component is that it is not means tested.. you can be a millionaire and still claim this benefit.... doesn't really seem right om me..

anyways was sitting in Asda carpark overlooking all the diability car parking bays... was astounded by the number of able bodied people who parked their cars there... so much so that after they left to go shopping in Asda went over to look at their cars' windscreens, and sure enough they all had a blue disabled badge.... I'm ~~~~ed if I know what was wrong with them or their passengers,,,
