You have

A National Insurance number
An NHS number
if you have a license, you have a number
if you have a passport a passport number
A number on your birth certificate
If you have criminal a record, even for speeding, you have at least 1 number
Doubtless you have a bank account and sort code number pair
Your debit and credit cards will have at least 2 numbers
You car if you have one will have a VIN, registration and mostly likely a V5 number

The place is full of numbers so that you can be identified - very difficult, if not impossible, to avoid.

100% true meat, I have been in the wild Africa were people have no record of registration.
