    Edinburgh Legionnaires' outbreak:

    Edinburgh Legionnaires' outbreak: Cases increase by 10 to 61

    The number of suspected cases in the Legionnaires' disease outbreak in Edinburgh has risen by a further 10, taking the total to 61.
    The new total was revealed by Health Secretary Nicola Sturgeon in a media statement on Thursday afternoon.

          it didnt.. last outbreak was in 80's and was smaller than this one in fact, the largest ever outbreak only killed 34 in 1976..

                                      The number of people believed to have been infected by the legionnaires' disease outbreak in Edinburgh has risen by 13 new cases.

                                      It brings the total number of confirmed and suspected cases to 74.

                                      In a separate development, the Health and Safety Executive has confirmed it has served an improvement notice on North British Distillery, the company responsible for one of the cooling towers that is being investigated.
