    Children banned from city centre

    Children under 16 have been banned from a city centre at night in a crackdown on anti-social behaviour.

    The move sees under-16s who are without an adult or parent being barred from the streets of Bangor, Gwynedd, between 9pm and 6am for six months.

    Parents have not been allowed to control their children for discipline for years, because when children tell the police that my dad hit me you could be charged for assaulting a child?

    Now this whole problem has come back in the society and what police is going to do is the opposite, I have seen police assaulting children?s, threatening to lock them up is this the right way to control and discipline children?s??????

      in a land very far away,it all started with the probation office,which was to help people who got into trouble,to try and put them on the correct track in life.then came the ban the belt brigade,that was the start of the downfall in kids discipline,so the belt got banned,i have spoken to a few people who voted for this,they now say it was a big mistake they made.

      then came the dreaded social work department and the esther rantzen brigade(that woman has a lot to answer for) both were set to stop kids that are being abused,i mean really abused sexually or beaten to a pulp,not just a clip on the back of the leg which i admit did when my kids acted up.

      then came the PC brigade,now they were the big problem,the government let these people set rules and set more rules the list is never ending,the government should have stepped in a long time ago and said ok this is going to far.we are losing control here of the younger generation,the parents are losing control of there own children,but they did not,now things have gone to far,the kids now control the roost,the parents are now the abused by there own kids,i will give you an instance at the end of post,

      anyway its now come to the stage that the POLICE are now parenting kids for the parents of the kids,thats not what the POLICE are needed for,they have enough to do.its about time parents stood up to the government,and got control of there kids back,anyone above 10 now its to late,but for any younger we might be able to discipline them so when they get to about 10 they will have more respect for people,

      and the no hopers we have now will be grown up and hopefully realise that life is just not about them.to the PC brigade this..A FAMILY UNIT IS A FAMILY UNIT,let us get on with being parents,and do your job of concentrating on kids that do suffer.

      now as i said give you an instance......
      my daughter was at door talking to 3 of her (pals) i told my daughter she was grounded,i heard her pals say,just sneak out ......... (daghters name) 4 times this was repeated, so i got up and shouted down hall, ......... shut the door your grounded 15 yr old girl put foot in door so could not shut,so i lost rag and shouted shut the fn door ............ end of.and get in your room,

      the 15 yr old girl pushed door open came into my livingroom and started shouting at me,she's not grounded,she is coming with us,you cant ground her,that was it,stood up this is my fn house i make rules she is 13 she does what i say,not you,get out of my fn house,and dont come back near my door again.

      1 hour later,police at door,i was told bluntly that i cant tell another persons child what to do or shout at them,if you have an issue with a child,call the police..WTF IS GOING ON IN THIS SOCIETY.

          I did manage to plough through it Ray, and I agree with you, but it was hard going.

          You need to break it up a bit with some punctuation and paragraphs.

                there you go.split it into paragraphs,now you can read one and come back later and read another.
                would not like to be the cause of the death of you.

                but when you come back you will have forgotten what 1st one said,and have to start again......what kind of coffin would you like.

                      ~~~~ all that, it?s the ban I am angry about it, what kind of law and order we are going to impose on our children, if this was imposed in third world country the UN will have a deferent view.
                      We should encourage our govt to find apprenticeship and work for children?s and they need help and not the other way round locking children in police sells?
                              WTF is anyone under 16 doing in a city centre after 9pm anyway. The parents should be made to take parenting classes and the kids made to do hard labour while the parents are getting educated. I'd better rephrase that to parent, as chances are there will only be one.
