Rose Jones, 53, pocketed more than ?135,000 of tax payers' money after convincing benefit officials she was unsteady on her feet and bed-ridden most of the time.

She claimed to be battling a spinal condition which left her immobile and on a variety of painkillers and suffering the effects of a stroke leaving her unable to sit in a chair, climb stairs and suffered from incontinence.

Her husband, ex-Para Reginald, 53, told authorities he was struggling to set up his own dog grooming company and needed working tax credits to help meet his bills.

But the couple were in fact living a lavish lifestyle travelling to exotic hideaways, including the Maldives and Indonesia for complicated scuba diving courses.

You do of course realise that these are all coming out in the same week that the government is trying to justify withdrawing benefit from under 25 year olds. Coincidence or just propaganda........

Could be possible scuba diving could be the only cure to the weakness of mussels and arthritis they had, the only way they can afford spending that amount of money is by deception.

Yeah and some of have been there on vacation.

Chuffing hotel room was poxy and small, had to go out side in the street, to cut the bit of wood on the hotel window ledge.

Got some funny looks from the local residents - you think they had never seen a DK member cutting a piece of wood in the street before.

Then there was the road closed signs, no diversions signs, just road closed.
