    Google to replace Olympics Gold Medal with Chrome Medal

    Google has signed an exclusive deal with the Olympic Committee to Sponsor the Mens 100m final at the London Olympics 2012.

    All contestants will display the official Google Logo on their tracksuits along with the slogan Citius, Altius, Fortius, Instantius - (Swifter, Higher, Stronger, Instant) to tie in with a new Google Instant advertising campaign that Google will be running alongside the Olympics.

    Medals will be presented by Larry Page and Sergey Brin and for the 1st time in olympic history a new Olympic Chrome Medal has been created to replace the Olympic Gold Medal.

    The new Chrome Medal bears Nike with Panathinaiko Stadium in the background on the obverse side, with the multi coloured Google Chrome logo on the reverse side.
