As i have posted before.... There is nothing to stop you going to their country and claiming benefits. It's been that way years, the daily mail just chooses the information it gives. Propaganda comic other Tory party.

A lot of people have been buying "holiday" homes in their countries, I know many who have, taking advantage of the cheap prices there. So it's ok for British to buy houses etc there and inflate their housing market an help inflation along in those countries then?

It's not the ability to only claim benefits in Romania or Bulgaria, as an EU citizen you have the right to claim state benefits in *any* EU country. If we have that right then why should they not have that right? I don't see any calls for changes to make it so that UK citizens can't claim anywhere in the EU?

Perhaps it's one of those things the Tories have missed, or that the Daily Mail don't think is worth publishing? Selective so called "news" at it's worst.

Oh and if you know those who are "fleecing our generous benefits system" perhaps you ought to inform the local DWP with details, or don't you actually know any - other than those that the SUn and DM report on.

As I've written before, reciprocal arrangements are in place - even for health care, as well you know. It's just that most people appear not to be able to read anything other than comics. The UK isn't a very well educated country and as such deserve everything they pay and don't get.... such is life.

well am sure we don't mind them buying a holiday home here gas- as long as they come for just a few weeks a year.

do they have such a generous benefit system ?? nhs ??
could we live as comfortable in there country?
probably not - as they wouldn't be coming here if you could

The education i received wasn't that good i admit.. but if a hungarian national chooses to live in France which doesnt have a NHS but does allow him benefits thats good.. his home country wont pay for it. its upto him to pay for it...

But if he choses to live here.. he gets it free..

He doesnt pay it in taxes because he claims benefits..

if i am wrong then im sorry for upsetting you

i doubt they could live as well as us

we are to soft but if in EU little you can do to stop it

We should have system like Australia

You come with a trade that is needed if you fall out of work or ill you need a sponsor so cant claim of the state

to balance it up though what percentage of foriegners live here??

                            what percent work?

if the population is made up by 6% or over of foreigners it seems logical that benefits will be the same

as i have said before think you need a job for a few month to be entitled to dole but if you come over and lose job then dont think there is much can stop you

One of the major problems with immigrants is a hardcore of UK unemployed who dont want to work, if these did work it would close the door on many

I'm sorry, are you one of those people who are unable to read or surf the internet to find out information for yourself? I charge ?100 an hour to read for other people. I've already put that information on DK in the last 2 weeks.
