This needs to be clamped down on, if you do business in the UK you sjould be made to run your accounts through UK (amazon, starbucks ect)

Im sure a lot of actors and footballers do similar and it really does need clamping down on, if they hide their money abroad though im not sure what you can do, close loop holes like gift loans ect for a start

Mansion tax has some good principles, if you cant get money of these rich at least you get some cash that way

Not sure benefit cheats are on the low side though, i would guess its about 70%, its just very little actually get caught. DWP do not have the resources to watch 10 Million people or whatever it is

Many single parents live with partners and dont claim together, some of them dont even realise its fraud tbh, many jobless have jobs. Are the 3 million disabled all disabled or do they ham it up a bit? Is everyone on the sick actually sick?

2 wrongs dont make a right, MP's frauding the system should receive same penalties as benefit fraud, and the same should apply to tax dodgers

    Although are builders/Plumbers exempt?

They arent but they all do cash in hand jobs, they see little wrong in it either

Its impossible to close everything whilst we still use cash tbh, and the tax man physically cannot check every persons bank account in the uk even if we did

Its very hard to close loopholes only the PAYE employed are guaranteed revenue, self employed will always "cook the books" and many self employed sign on as back up for quiet times and get rent/c tax paid

Agree with GMB tbh about MP's they need expenses their wages are pretty poor tbh (better than i have ever had ) but not very good when compared to other things like banks and even people on the council

Apparantly the pm only gets ?142,000 a year

            Its a lot

but consider Salford council CEO gets ?211,000

and fred goodwin of the failed RBS took about ?2.7M lumper and now gets around ?342,000 a year on top

            Basically for going bust

Members***8217; pay would remain frozen at ?65,738 for 2012/13.

M.P's annual salary and the greedy gits still can't pay fir a packet of biscuits.
they also thought they were underpaid,
maybe some expense's but 2nd homes etc. should be scrapped

That is poor to many firms, decent tradesmen can get that

If you had to put just travel expenses out of the ?65,000 tax and NI you wont have much left to be fair

but yes stupid things should be blocked

Expenses is more than the odd cup of coffee. I have flown all over the world for work, would people expect me to pay for plane tickets and hotel bills that are directly attributed to work out of my own wages? I'd be very broke very quickly.
My master plan is to live forever..... going to plan so far
Despite the cost of living, it's still very popular.
