    Budget

Doesnt seem like a bad budget to me at first glance first ?2000 NI conts scrapped tax free allowance rising to ?10,000, corporation tax cut

seems the plan is clear make work higher paid than benefit as for many it is not

after inflating beating benefit rises in recent years they are now capped at 1% too which added to tax and NI savings should make working for part time and low paid workers much more worthwhile

but i see nothing about tax credits, will you get less?

meaning you are in the same boat or will the higher NI and higher tax allowance not be included in credits

the debts rising but the defict is falling not as fast as planned

but to be fair if europe wasnt on its arse im pretty sure growth would be much higher

beer tax escalator scrapped not sure i will benefit much

It wouldn't have effected pubs much,
it would have actually helped the them, putting supermarket prices on a more level playing field with pubs
but Lord Sainsbury put a stop to it.

Wrong way around again. It should be prices going down to match supermarkets, not supermarket prices going up to match pubs. Do you really agree that you want to pay more, or are you in the same mindset as the lemmings who follow government thinking? Here's an extra ?200 a year off your tax, by the way, we're going to add 80% to the duty of beer - you should be thanking me, you're better off...... in other words, shake the governments hand, but check how many fingers you have when you get it back.

Don't take that the wrong way, but surely we don't want any price rises, supermarkets or pubs, to even it out pub prices should go down. Never think the other way
My master plan is to live forever..... going to plan so far
Despite the cost of living, it's still very popular.
