    Sleeping policeman snapped on Facebook: Salford cop caught napping on the job



    This sleeping policeman could face a wake-up call from his bosses after apparently being caught napping on the job.

    The officer, 26, was out on an operation but, after finishing his inquiries, he seemed to settle down for a little shuteye as he waited for colleagues to arrive.

    And one of them took this embarrassing snap, which was posted on Facebook with the comment: ?Expert scene management.?

    A colleague added: ?The picture doesn?t quite capture the snoring.?

    The image, thought to have been taken in Salford, Greater Manchester, has now been removed from the social networking site.

      Err hang on. He has a roll if tape paper bag next to him. He is clearly ready to arrest a crook but needs back up to arrive

      As for sleeping at work i had a fault 2 years ago could not stay awake at work. Ended up sleeping in a car i meant to be fixing! Got away with it

      Was in the summer fault caused by 2 litre dr pepper the day before ( no sleep!)


      As for twitface. Crap site people block you and unfriend thats it no more stalking!

          He must have been on overtime job at home it effects people who do not consider job as a carrier, I would have given him a spongy bed and told to arrest me next day?.

                      No it flashed up "INSERT COIN". Besides rumor stated something anout as second hand phone & my thick mate has resgastarsd with itunes need to reflash and loose the stuff he paid for?

                      Sadly dk rules state no selling but swap you for a notbook. Just for viewing dk in bed but nice to save stuff before moderators delete things!

                          So 3000000000000 love Apples walled garden. They must also love not being able to do shit that a ten quid samsung can do like attch multiple images to an email, import a phone book to phone etc etc. Freakin Iphone does everything apart from the very things people need phones for. Not a very intuitive interface and often swiping to delete just takes you to the item without offering the delete option.

                          The worst thing is people have been asking very basic functionallity issue to be addressed for 5 generation and many firmware updates now. Apple is similar to Microsoft in the way that they keep adding to draw in customers without first fixing the errors to satisfy the customers they have.

                          Iphone will be a Win98 scenario where we are told to scrap them, they will never be fixed and Apple greedy bastards will move on to create more junk. How they are allowed to remain trading is beyond me. By my reckoning all these major corps breach the "Sale of Goods" act on a minute by minute basis. Must be a tax/revenue generation thing that stops the regulatory bodies intervening.

                          Back on topic, I have a love/hate feeling for this sleeping policeman. Whilst he sleeping he's leaving me and many others alone, but the idle lazy scrounging bastard really did ought to pull his fat ass from outta the chimney and earn the money we work hard for to pay him.

                          We can gripe but Im sure we have all seen rozzers sat at the roadsides using facebook and texting others. Our government are pioneers in employing lazy, beurocratic, complacant tits and its why not a single government agency performs well. Im currently suing DVLA for 30k for a **** up they made and heard another incident where they sent a motorcyle instructor a letter notifying him he was now banned. He sent his licence for a change of address and never had a conviction in 20 years. DVLA are appently attempting to null all of his candidate passes between certain dates too. He also never had any convictions.
