      Why not it always makes good right wing rhetoric to blame someone else, anyone else, for the problems rather than getting down to the business of fixing them. As per another thread Heseltine says it's all out fault for not having any drive and being too rich to even be bothered to get the country back on it's feet again.

      OK I admit it, the banking crisis and credit crunch was all my fault. I failed to borrow until I was so in debt that I was drowning and I saved money rather than spending it. The banks, FSA and governments obviously have no part to play in this and are completely blameless. If anything we should start having a yearly "Save the poor bankers and MP's day" where we all donate at least 110% of our wages to help the poor souls with expenses and second houses. If you can't afford the 110% the banks will help you out by lending you more than you can afford to pay and they can afford to lend.
