Weather: Temp To Hit 20C As Spring Comes

Spring will bloom next week as the cold snap that is winter's last blast moves away, according to forecasters.

Temperatures will reach up to 20C in parts of the south and east and will get up to double figures in across all of Britain after one of the coldest recorded Marches in history.

People in the north of England and Scotland may have felt as if the cold spell would never end however as many parts spent another day covered in snow.

Temperatures in northern areas continued at an unseasonably low of between 4C (39.2F) and 7C (44.6F) throughout the day and into tomorrow.

But forecasters have revealed there is much better weather on the way for the whole country, with temperatures after Sunday expected to leap.

Look at the bright side; I will turn the heater off and save money on my utility bills.

Forecasters predicted it, as in the Met Office? **ck write off another summer due to snow, hail, rain and floods then. Every time they say we're in for good weather does it turn to sh*t

                              Ireland under 'tornado warning'

                              on 14/04/2013 14:02:29
A level one tornado warning has been issued for Ireland today by a European storm forecaster.

The European Storm Forecast Experiment - also known as Estofex - says a level one warning is the lowest warning out of three, and says there's just a 5% probability of a tornado hitting the country.

The news comes after Met Eireann earlier issued a weather warning, with wind speeds expected to reach over 110 kilometres per hour in some parts of the country today.

Met Eireann says western coastal counties will be worst affected, with a risk of spot flooding also forecast.
