I think the latter is true. I'm not saying anyone did or didn't do anything but to go to the police after all that time I mean it just makes you think it's a waste of police time. This woman has done herself and other victims of rape, no favours by choosing to keep silent for so long.

Obviously as times were different then women and children were afraid to come forward as no-one would believe them especially against celebrities and people who were in posiition of high power and authority. its took the Saville revelations to give those people confidence to come forward and name those b@stards responsible and sends a clear message to the many beasts who haven't yet been caught who perpetrated simalar crimes no matter how much time passes you will be caught if others have the courage to speak out no matter how much time has past between your crimes.

Personally i hope many more come forward against all forms of sexual abuse no matter the abuser and every single one of those guilty lowlife scumbags who thought they could get away with it are shaking behind their doors awaiting that knock at the door they thought they were untouchable from!

Obviously Bill Roach hasn't been tried yet and no-one knows as yet what the outcome will be on that particular case! I am speaking in general towards abusers who are guilty and he may yet prove to be one or the other but there's obviously substantial evidence to merit an investigation.

No one finds child abuse funny ... but how do you take seriously some one coming forward after 40+ years ... how do you prove anything ... its word against word

Some people will do anything for attention and cash ... you only need to think back to Shannon Mattews to see what some are prepared to do

And tbh I couldn't give a monkies about all this child abuse.. It's all bullshit..

Whatever the case may be there is definately an element of money involved.

Brushing past a celeb may net you thousands it seems no matter how many years ago, if it bothered you that much it would have been reported at the time

messing with kids is sick, but how do we know as Kalipo said that a 15 year old was 15, that imo is not really indecent if you dont know the age, was the 15 year old after it, who knows

If you know they are under age its an issue no doubt but that again depends on age at the time a 17 year old with a 15 year old is hardly a crime, even though the law says it is

But every year you add on to the 17 year old it gets a little creepier, at what age it becomes morally wrong is open to different interpretations

Rape is wrong, messing with kids is wrong, grooming is wrong

But i cant help feel some of it needs putting in perspective, much of it amounts to a grope of an arse and touch of a leg and much of it is one word against the other 40 years later
