I think if you read my comment carefully you'll see that I never suggested giving him money, or anyone for that matter. Hence food and accommodation rather than giving money in such cases. Unless you know him you can't really comment on a specific case as to why his money was stopped, I was generalising, and unless you know his case then you are just making off the cuff remarks rather than anything constructive. He may or may not be using it as an excuse, neither you or I know. It is also true to say that as the recession bites there will be more crimes committed and the crime rate will continue to rise, probably more so once the police forces contract.

Benefit sanctions dont happen for nothing, and they dont last long. Even when there is sanctions they can get money

There are absolutely loads of jobs and opportunity's to make money in this country, they might be crap and they may not pay much but usually they can lead to better jobs. If immigrants can find work why cant brits?

Too many do-gooders in this country, rather blame a system that helps people than the junkie,burglar or granny mugger that did the crime

Ok me sons mate just got a shitty job working nights he's chuffed to bits only been looking for the last 12 months because every shitty little menial job he applied for he got the knock back. now this new job he's got all his fellow workers are all polish. hmmmm time to start looking after number 1. not everyone who's british and on benefits is a thieving lazy granny basher .
