Can't have it both ways, it's either a nationalised state owned company, or a company that's in it to make a profit for it's owners. Once privatised why should the taxpayers subsidise it ???? If the government were allowed to pick and choose which public companies to give money to then where does it stop ? Will they subsidise my corner shop against asda ?

As for the pension fund, people are forgetting that the government took the pension money of ?28 billion last year.... Where do you think the tax allowance bribe rise came from ?

It's this government that is choosing to sell off a company that is making a profit, they don't have to. Would you sooner have ?1000 in you pocket now as a one off payment or ?100 a year for the rest of your life ? Take the Tory option, sell it off and waste it on tax bribes for the next election rather than think of the future long term good. Then blame the eu for your own incompetence because it suits you.
