The debt, when said and done is around ?3.27, since we owe whoever and they owe us and so on. However having such a large debt suddenly appear, cheers bankers......, makes it so that the cuts have to be made, those who had started to see the light at the end of the tunnel could no longer afford the electricity to pay to keep the light on and so ended up with relatively less money than they had before, however those that owned the bulb and the tunnel made even more money *shrug* Personally I just think it was a way to keep the gap between rich and poor in place, after all you don't want peasants having money do you? The rich are just as rich, pay less in taxes and make more than ever.

BOE interest rate is 0.5%, interest paid to savers is less than 1%, so why are mortgage rates so high?
My master plan is to live forever..... going to plan so far
Despite the cost of living, it's still very popular.
    No good deed goes unpunished....

Have a good read at what I've written and think why I've wrote it. I've not listed age or sex of the person getting contraceptives. You can get the male implant and condoms. If you are the type of person that's happy enough to bring a child into the World of poverty just because you want a baby as an accessory you are effectively punishing that baby. Surely it is better to bring a child into the World knowing that you can feed, clothe and buy your child things it may need to live a decent standard of life. There would then be enough benefits money left over to look after those that honestly need it through no fault of their own. You only have to drive around some of the poorer areas of the UK to see how the kids are suffering. It's not surprising the poorer areas have higher levels of drink, drugs and crime, they feel worthless. I'd rather have a society where everyone could be looked after.

if you would rather have a society where everyone could be looked after then I support your beliefs wholeheartedly, but if that was genuinely the case why blame any portion of society, freud could write a book on the contradiction of that one line.
