why is it ANTYHING German is idolised by the Emericans?
OFF TOPIC:-
past couple of weeks, had Germans cars with problems, solution has been LEECHED off INFERIOR Emerican forums?
Then had a German car in, it HAD to have an Emerican computer on it, to talk to it.
ON TOPIC:-
DMV - that's Emerican for Deptment Motor Vehicles
Here in Ingland it's called the "DVLA" Driver & vehicle Licesing Agency"
Baiscally, ANYTHING to do with putting a car/bus/motorbike on the road, this is the organisation that SCREW money out of you every which way they can.
There shutting LOTS of offices to make it more efficent.
So to you non Inglish, sometimes a vehicle has to be took to an office to be inspected, so when they shut them down, poeople have to travel MUCH MUCH further for these 'special' inspections. Helping the enviroment

Not necessarily. It depends on the circumstances.
?If a driver overtakes a stationary queue and forces their way in at the head of the queue, that?s unsafe..."

There's a difference between forcing your way in and merging in turn. I just get annoyed as I drive into Edinburgh almost every day from the North and have lost count of the times I've not been able to get off at my junction as some fud has crashed and some road user has taken upon himself to block the outside lane off to stop people using all lanes. Two years ago I almost missed a flight as the tail back from an accident on the M8 had stretched back almost two miles blocking off two junctions. If they'd used all lanes the junction including mine would have been clear. The same happens regularly on the slip road to the Forth Valley Hospital which is even more dangerous. 70960]Not necessarily. It depends on the circumstances.

the article does not use the term "not necessarily" it is quite concrete in the wording because to secure a conviction the police would need to prove unsafe driving if challenged in court.there is a thousand scenario's where the police could fall foul of this but after reading nara's o/p it clearly refers to a bus lane where a car undertakes and cuts in.i do not see where it appears that she becomes guilty of becoming the nuisance.i regularly block dual carriageways with a wagon if undertook by numerous gobshites who feel it is fine to cut in at the twenty metre mark when it has took me an hour to travel 400 metres cos I merged in plenty of time.Comment

Yeah carry on.
Here in M/C theres a hill two lanes going up to the top 40 MPH.
If you stood at the bottom and EVERY car that goes up it, you would have thought, judging by the speed folks go up - blind hill at the top with a right turn - it's left lane DK members and impatant BMW drivers rh lane.
last week, looked in mirror impataint bmw e46 in mirror, should not have been there, must have come up the hill at speed.
little further up is a roundabout, see the guy stick his trafficator out, (BMW drivers only indicate on roundabouts if leaving on first exit)
so i just cut across, cut him up went same way as him, slowed him down a bit, tosher

I had to chuckle when the so called Lancashire Road Cop said " They aim to target people that overtake a stationary queue then force themselves in making everyone brake." Call me old fashioned but if you are stationary and you hit your brakes you're still stationary. Doh. The LAW RTRA Section 16 states you must stay in lane and merge in turn and gives the example of when approaching road works etc. It would be interesting any Traffic Cop that never knew the rules dragging someone through the courts for following the law.Comment
