If you take away the benefits from the non citizens like food stamps healthcare and housing they won't come. If you really think they are coming for a job you must be high. Here in America if we keep letting them in we will all have Hernandez for a last name.

Foreigners dont come for benefits.. they come for all matters of things..

Some will come to just retire here! no job or state benefits..
Others will come for jobs.. be it high or low paid!
Then there are those who just come for benefits and to run the local areas to the ground!

No help needed there, the proud residents of some areas are well versed in running down local areas and claiming more than their fair share in benefits while working on the side. Perhaps it is those that the government should worry about more than immigrants who come to work, since eu migrantsare unable to claim benefits or take up social housing unless they have paid into the uk system, as pointed out earlier - the bit you failed to read about time we barred welsh immigrants from claiming dole in England as we'll if you are to apply it fairly to all races and immigrants.......

Got to ask these questions then. If Scotland votes to be independent would you also bar scots from immigrating into England and claiming benefits ?

If yes/no what makes them different from any EU country who we have signed up to be with ?

After all if they get independence they will not pay into the English welfare, tax or NHS systems unless, like eu citizens they work and pay into the system in England. I'll add now that I have nothing against Scotland and it's people, but I have everything against bigotry and double standards.

Perhaps the ukip supporters might want to answer, since if Scotland gets independence ukip may have to choose a new name, not being able to represent Scotland - since Scotland appears to want to join the eu, not escape.

You may also want to ask, in the same scenario, what would happen if what was left of the uk voted to leave the eu, Scotland stayed in the eu, would you restrict either the scots, or eu immigrants settling in Scotland, from settling in England ??
